Herbert Hopkins, MSW, MPH
is the founder and managing director of Citizenship Plus,
LLC. He has provided immigration solutions to people for
over ten years. As a Director of Immigration and Social Services
of The International Institute of Metropolitan Detroit
(1996-2002), he was a BIR Certified Representative for the
organization. He supervised a legal staff that included
immigration specialists with law students from the University of
Michigan, Michigan State University, Wayne State University and
University of Detroit/Mercy schools of law. On retirement, he
brought his expertise to the Chicago area. Mr. Hopkins learned
the needs of asylum seekers and refugees first hand from his
many years of work as a project head and social worker in
Southeast Asia. He holds masters degrees in Social Services
Administration from the University of Chicago and in Public
Health from the University of Michigan. |
